The Traveler's Gift - Andy Andrews

Quite probably the best and easily the most inspiring book I have ever read. “The Travelers Gift” by Andy Andrews has been lent or given to several of my friends and family with every one of them stating how inspiring the book is to get up and take control of your own destiny.

The Travelers gift is fun story that starts with a very easy to relate to family with very common problems and worries that in some way, at some time in our lives, we have somehow experienced or are currently living through. Many people live with a either a fear of losing a job or working for one they don’t like. Many people have fears and worries about how they will provide for their family, friends, and partner.

The story uses time travel in much the same way it’s used in “A Christmas Carol” with Ebenezer Scrooge visiting different times and possibilities. The difference with “the Travelers Gift” is you visit history changing events and speak with several well known people such as King Solomon while deciding who the correct mother is of a child, Christopher Columbus while still on a boat in the middle of the ocean still looking for land, Ann Rice while in hiding from the Jew killing Nazi’s, and several others key events in history. You’re taken through the methods of thought and actions taken that created the history we know from these epic events.

Each little story within the story reveals a powerful message of abundance and when carried together hold the secret to leading a fulfilling abundant life.

Every action you take is a personal choice. The real question is weather this choice is conscious or unconscious. Once you’ve chosen to make your life filled with accomplished dreams, the only thing holding you are the choices you make and the actions you take.

The Travelers Gift helps bring all of this into perspective in merely 140 pages of large print.

I give this book My Highest recommendation. Making “The Traveler’s Gift” required reading in the school systems around the ages of 12-15 could help create more inspired, better focused children, better armed to fight the personal battles we all inevitably face that hold us back while living our lives.

Go on — Seek Wisdom. :)
